Making Your Dreams Come True

Everybody dreams big dreams, at one point of life everybody wants to be someone important and someone worthy of attention. You can think for yourself that who hasn't dreamed about playing the game-winning homer? Who hasn't wanted to be the homecoming queen? People always dream about being wealthy, and accomplished and having great relationships.

Dreaming big aspirations is a common practice. At times, we are unable to bring things into reality and these dreams remain what they are forever, and then, they get dusty in the attic.

Our dreams are supposed to actualize, but when they do not come true, our story of life takes a sad turn. It drains our enthusiasm and vibe to live life. We continue to live a boring life just for the sake of living.

One hurdle in setting aims is thinking it is impossible. Many people think that it is out of their reach, that they can't do it, that it is impossible. However, it is a fact that if scientists had thought that way, there would have been no inventions, no creative work, and no new prospects for human development.

Scientists were amazed when they saw the bumblebee fly, as in their opinion it was impossible for it to fly. The bumblebee obviously believed it could fly and it continues to fly until this date.

Having a narrow view of yourself and assuming boundaries will make it impossible for you to break free. On the other hand, if you reach for the sun and travel towards moon you will continue to journey towards an impossible aim.

Here is a little assignment for you. Take a chart paper and write on it a header stating 'I can accomplish this'. Under this state, all the possible aims or goals that you think you can achieve. When you are done write another heading that states 'I might be able to accomplish this'. Again, write everything that comes into regarding things you might be able to accomplish.

Each-and-every day you look at this page and try to achieve the goals that you've written under the first header as goals that you are sure that you can achieve. Slowly do everything that you have written down.

When you will eventually come to the heading of things you thought impossible would start seeming possible.

Then at last the things you have written to be impossible for you will start to become more likely to be achieved by you.

The benefit of this activity is to reveal to you the importance of working brick by brick. It is however futile to set unrealistic goals. The goals that you have to achieve require hard work without which dreams will remain just part of your imaginations.

If you would have told anyone hundred years back that you would be able to communicate across the world in minutes, he would have thought you are joking. Nevertheless, the constant struggle and believing in the impossible that resulted in achieving the impossible.

Like Edison said that it is 1% inspiration and 99% perspiration. The statement holds true in every situation. So continue to dream big and aim for higher stars while keep on putting the best of your efforts in trying. As you do this you will see how 'impossible' will start becoming 'possible'.

As the famous quote says, "no pain, no gain," you cannot succeed without hardwork. Nothing is impossible! Realize your dreams and believe you can make it.
