Thinking Of Dieting - The Hollywood Diet

There are dozens and dozens of diet plans and menus. Some of them place a major emphasis on wine. The Beverly Hills Diet, also known as the Hollywood Diet, is not one of them. This diet got its second name because of the number of movie stars who followed it. This diet lasts 4 to 6 weeks and may provide 400 calories a day. If that doesn't set off danger signals, I don't know what will. The first phase lasts three weeks. During the first week you only eat fruit and must absolutely respect the selected foods for the given day. This is a detoxification week. During the next two weeks you progressively reintegrate foods. The second phase lasts two weeks and leads to a balanced diet. The final phase lasts one week. You are even allowed pizza and popcorn but don't overdo it. Here are some of the principles.

Respect the given menus, to the letter. During Phase 1 every day has its own specified food or fruits. For example, on the very first day of the diet you are allowed pineapple and two bananas. On day three of the third week you eat zucchini in the morning, green beans and mushrooms at noon, and broccoli or cauliflower at supper. Phase 2 is also very well defined. For example, you start the day with two tablespoons of untreated bran and an unsweetened hot drink. Then wait 45 minutes for breakfast. You will definitely need a book to get the full list of foods, day by day. I had no trouble finding such books on the Internet, especially with a reference to the Beverly Hills Diet.

In spite of its name the Hollywood Diet has no advantages, except for some people the fact that they are following the stars. In phase 2 this diet, unlike many others, permits wine in moderate quantities. Can you imagine telling Hollywood stars that they cannot drink at all? This diet must not be undertaken by anyone suffering from diabetes, ulcers, or colon spasms. Others who should avoid this diet include pregnant and breastfeeding women. There is a real danger of fainting, muscular weakness, and nervousness.

Here is a sample menu: Menu (Week 5, Day 4) For breakfast enjoy three eggs, two pieces of toast, and a cup of tea. There is no mid-morning snack. For lunch you may indulge in some unaccompanied chicken. Supper time means a plate of mussels, a large steak, and one slice of cheese.

Now Is The Time To Get Back To The Basics Of Love And Romance

Practically every romance has the prospective to start as if it were a fairy tale. "Once upon a time, two individuals fell passionately in love and their love was different than others before theirs." Relationship beginnings are wonderful and they can experience a 'rebirth' with a wedding, honeymoon and the interesting first year of marital relationship.

When a couple begins to grow and their lives change with tasks, children, social activities and various other dedications, the love and romance ends up being more challenging to take care of. Sometimes love and romance seem to be lost entirely. This fate is not unavoidable if you wish to revive the passion or just bring it to a new level by becoming a hopeless romantic.

When you want to fire up the interest in your relationship but you aren't sure what you're required to do, the finest place to begin is at the start. It's not hard and as soon as you begin you will find that you will get your own brand-new concepts after a while.

A lot of new relationships or brand-new starts count on the 'little' things to show love and romance. Make sure to bear in mind unique 'couple' days like Valentine's Day, Anniversaries and even the date you met if possible. Be sure to send out a significant present or just a lots roses and a box of chocolates to commemorate your sensations for your partner. Women can do precisely the exact same thing for guys right here. Few men can resist candy!

You may rule out yourself to be a writer, however writing your partner a long love letter with your thoughts about how you feel for the various other person is among the most touching methods to stimulate romance. If you aren't comfortable writing a letter, think about making lists about exactly what you love the most about your partner. Lists can be about the things they do that makes you laugh, what they do for you that you value, how they make you feel inside, exactly how lovely or handsome they are and other extremely personal but alert details.

Call your partner and talk softly and in a loving manner. If she or he isn't able to anwser the phone, leave enjoying messages on their voice mail. Talk dirty when you understand that she or he can not return the same chat on the other end.

Occasionally couples feel more comfortable attempting to bring love into their relationship by bestowing presents on their partner. While classics like flowers, sweets and perfume are often successful presents, attempt 'offering' something different. Make plans to go see every charming motion picture that comes to the theater throughout the year. Bring home a bottle of champagne to celebrate even the smallest accomplishment she or he has had. Arbitrarily send romantic and/or funny greeting cards to his or her workplace or hide them under the bed pillows in the house.

These ideas are simply concepts to get you started in your effort to bring love and romance to a brand-new level in your marital relationship. You may have your very own concepts and those are most likely better than anything provided here. When you open the door to love in your relationship or marriage and start to build a foundation for future romance, you prepare to move to much more creative levels of romance and love.

Diet Plans And Menus - Reviewing The Hay Diet

There are dozens and dozens of diet plans and menus, some of which place a major accent on wine. Unlike most of the diets discussed in this series of articles, the Hay Diet has been around for decades. It was initiated in 1904 by Doctor William Howard Hay. This diet is rich in fruits, vegetables, meat, fish, and whole-grain cereals. The accent is placed on alkaline food rather than acidic food. Every day you should eat three types of meals: meals based on starchy foods such as rice and potatoes, alkaline meals based on foods such as fresh fruit and legumes, and protein-rich meals based on meat, fish, dairy products, and eggs.

Here are some Hay Diet principles.Hay Diet was created by a group of seasoned nutritionists who placed the accent on health rather than body weight. They put four rules into practice: healthy nutrition, regular physical activity, relaxation, and self-esteem. This weight loss program is meant to last a lifetime. The proposed weight loss runs from half a pound to a pound (.2 kilograms to .6 kilograms) per week. Here are some of the program principles.

Raw foods provide energy, reduce your stress level, and improve your skin and hair. Eat at least as much raw food as cooked food. Do not eat more than 5 fruits a day. Do not mix starch and protein in the same meal as doing so is said to disturb your digestion. Don't eat processed food. Reduce or even eliminate sugar in your diet. Put an accent on proteins because they are said to help digestion. Don't exclude oil such as olive oil or sunflower seed oil from your diet. Drink a lot, all day long, except with your meals.

This diet claims several advantages such as reinforcing your immune system, reducing stress, and improving your mental performance and physical endurance. It is also said to fight against aging and some cancers. The Hay Diet is not always easy to follow, especially for those with a sweet tooth. It tends to be complicated. This diet makes no mention of wine, which is another disadvantage in my book.

Here is a sample menu: For breakfast enjoy unsweetened Muesli cereal with sliced apricots and a dessert of vanilla soy. Lunchtime means an endive salad, sauteed lean hamburger meat, squash and mushrooms, followed by sliced pineapple. Supper is leek soup, a puree of potatoes and a peach. :

Online Discussion Forums: A Great Way to Educate Yourself

Your friends are great. They are the people you see on a regular basis and certainly listen to everything you need to vent or want to discuss... well, almost everything. Many people hide some facet of their lives because they fear that their friends and families will judge them. Although they fear being judged, there is still a forum where they can voice their opinions and discuss subjects they find interesting with like-minded people. If you are considering writing your very first science fiction or fantasy novel, then discussing this online could be a great opportunity to gain more information on the subject and to get ideas about the characters and plot of your novel. Since your friends are not familiar with this area, they may not be of much help. They may not judge you for being a geek, but they probably are not the best group of people to focus your discussion.

Online discussion forums allow people the opportunity to share thoughts and discuss a variety of topics. You may have never known there were hundreds of people who share your passion for frog legs, but you will soon find out there is much more to the world once you have opened your eyes to the broad environment that the internet provides. The internet is capable of putting you in touch with people who you otherwise would have never come into contact with. These people may live in your neighborhood, or they may be across an entire ocean. The internet allows like-minded people to get together and talk about things that interest them. Even if you know nothing about a subject, you can join a discussion and ask questions. This online discussion forum can provide you with a little bit of an education while also listening to other people's opinions on the subject. Anyone can do research on any subject they wish to know more about, but only a live discussion can really provide insigh
t as to what kind of opinions people have about the issue at hand.

The new thing everyone is doing these days is having online discussions about a variety of topics. This can open your eyes to a new world that you have never been exposed to. Here, you can share your thoughts and opinions on whatever subject you desire. Even if you are hesitant to express your thoughts about something your friends may not feel is normal, then you can always turn to the internet in order to gather more information on the subject matter without being judged. These live forums provide almost immediate responses. You will not have to wait for others to answer your questions, because everyone who joins the forum is thoroughly prepared to spend time discussing the topic at hand.

Diet Plans And Menu - Reviewing The Harmony Health Diet

The marketplace presents literally dozens and dozens of diet plans and menus, some of which place quite an emphasis on wine. The Harmony Health Diet was created by a group of seasoned nutritionists who placed the accent on health rather than on body weight. They put four rules into practice: healthy nutrition, regular physical activity, relaxation, and self-esteem. This weight loss program is meant to last for a lifetime. The proposed weight loss is in the range of half a pound to a pound (.2 kilograms to .6 kilograms) per week. Here are some of the program principles.

You should ose weight gradually, according to your needs. Don't place the bathroom scale in the center of your diet. Respect your body and listen to its hunger and fullness signals. Don't count calories except to insure a minimum of 1200 per day. There are no forbidden foods. Keep a daily log of what you eat. Eat a maximum of 20% prepared foods. Get support from a nutritionist. Eat whatever you like but never exaggerate. Manage your stress through mediation, yoga, and other methods. Eat about three meals and two or three snacks a day. Drink a minimum of eight glasses of water a day. Eat whole grains and foods that contain omega-3. Make mealtime pleasurable. For some meals eat Harmony Health plates which consist of 50% vegetables, 25% bread, and 25% meat or meat substitutes. Eat organic, local products where possible. Practice a sport for some 30 to 60 minutes a day.

This diet has the advantage that you will succeed in knowing yourself better. You'll learn that it's possible to be healthy no matter what your weight. A major disadvantage is the cost of nutritionists or other specialists. Some insurance companies are starting to reimburse these fees. For me, another disadvantage is that the Harmony Health Diet makes no mention of wine.

Here is a sample menu: For breakfast you may eat a bowl of whole grain cereal, a glass of soy milk, and a pear.. For lunch you may have a quarter plate of red kidney beans, a quarter plate of brown rice, squash, and 175 milliliters (about 6 ounces) of yogurt. Your mid-afternoon snack is a slice of mozzarella cheese, an orange, and a glass of water. For supper, indulge yourself with 120 grams of salmon, green beans, a third of a plate of whole grain pasta, 125 milliliters of raspberries, and a yogurt.

Thinking Of Dieting - The Grapefruit Diet

There are literally dozens and dozens of diet plans and menus, a few of which place a major focus on wine. The Grapefruit Diet is a very low calorie diet destined for those people who want to lose weight fast, perhaps 10 pounds (about 4.5 kilograms) in 12 days. Don't even think of going on this diet if you have health or nutritional problems or are pregnant or breast feeding. This 1000-calories-a-day diet was popular with Hollywood stars of the 1930s. Here are some of the diet principles.

While the calories are very minimal, you will eat three meals and a snack daily. All of the meals star grapefruit, either pure or in juice form but always without any sugar. You may be happy to know that the snacks do not include grapefruit in any form. You also remove complex glucides from your diet. In other words rice, wheat, legumes, nuts, grains, potatoes, sweet potatoes, green peas and corn are all out. In addition to the ubiquitous grapefruit you will eat eggs, fruits, green, yellow, and red vegetables, fish, and meat. Drink a lot of liquids including water, grapefruit juice, tomato juice, skim milk, and tea or coffee without sugar. Did we mention grapefruit juice?

The Grapefruit Diet has the advantage of being quite easy to follow. The star item is easy to prepare. And you are sure to get enough vitamin C. Not surprisingly, It doesn't have a good effect on dieters' health. Other disadvantages of this diet include the lack of essential nutrients. The Grapefruit Diet may engender fatigue or fainting because of the low calorie intake. And once your grapefruit marathon is over, you are almost sure to gain weight back. Some people would say, why bother. Another disadvantage in my book is the lack of wine in this diet. Of course, if only some genius would invent a wine based on grapefruit instead of grape fruits, that conconction would probably be hailed or at least accepted.

Here is a sample menu : For breakfast enjoy half a grapefruit, two eggs, two slices of bacon, and a cup of coffee or tea. Lunch means half a glass of unsweetened grapefruit juice, a broiled steak, a lettuce, cucumber, celery, and radish salad, and a cup of coffee or tea. The mid-afternoon snack is a glass of tomato juice. And for supper gorge on half a grapefruit, turkey breast, and sauteed red, green, and yellow bell peppers.

Mistakes - What To Do When You Make Them

Mistakes really are brilliant! Do you know why?

No matter what error in judgment you may make, whether it's in your relationships, personally, professionally, or financially, you can learn something valuable about you, another, or this mysterious world we inhabit.

Some slip ups are bigger than others and you might even pay dearly in one way or another for them. Others come with consequences or price tags and you probably will wish you wouldn't have made them, but you did, and that's okay.

You can't turn the clocks back but you can make great progress and move forward from them regardless of what they might be.

There are countless inspirational stories from people, including myself, who have made drastic and life-altering mistakes and you can learn to rise from and above them.

Making blunders is part of being human. To me, it's how we learn. If we never made any errors, how would we know when we are on or off track in ourselves and on our journeys?

Sometimes you might not know where your oversights came from. All of a sudden, wham, you are doing or saying something you never thought you would because you are acting from an emotionally charged place, the lapse of reason space.

You detached, for a time being, from your internal knowingness, the God within, Consciousness, Oneness. Sometimes you may not even know or believe this space exists and that it often is found through one's errors.

Most mistakes are made because we temporarily lose perspective. I refer to as "wiggin out".

When we "wig out", we are operating from our emotions, not from our center, and it is not always the best side of ourselves, especially if you are on the receiving end.

We forget "our connection" and become disconnected by feelings of jealousy, inadequacies, fears, anger, sadness, guilt, stress, anxiousness, etc.

Our reactions to, and from, these unwanted emotions are often the culprit to our lack of perspective and union. They often result in our errors which, in return, are offering us opportunities to learn and gain incredible and life changing insights.

What's crucial is not that you have faltered, it's where you go once you have.

If you beat yourself up, don't. Pick yourself up, and brush yourself off.

Take responsibility for your mistake(s) and make amends where you can.

Forgive yourself and others for slipping-up, it happens along our journey.

Look at what you have, or are learning about yourself or another, or the situation at hand through your mistake. This is so valuable and can make a world of difference.

Sometimes the end result of our errors like loss of a relationship, money, job, etc, doesn't always work out, at the time, for what seems like the best for us but other times, or in the future, our mistake leads us to even greater heights and outcomes than we ever imagined.

Look at your lapse as just that, a lapse of connection. A disconnect from source, from your inner knowingness, from that which is and always is. Now you have an opportunity to reconnect and gain significant knowledge you may not have had if you hadn't made an error.

Your mistakes are for your learning, growth and expansion as a human and spiritual being. It's up to you how and what you do after you make them.

When you are connected to God, or whatever you believe this to be, there is right in our wrongs.

Next time you make a mistake, look to it for learning.

Use these techniques to assist you in moving through your mistakes as well as gaining valuable insights from and through them.

Diet Menus And Plans - Reviewing The Hallelujah Diet

There are literally dozens and dozens of diet plans and menus out there, some of which place an accent on wine. The Hallelujah Diet, also known as the Creator's Diet, was initiated by George Malkmus, a former chemist who became a Baptist preacher. After surviving colon cancer Malkmus was convinced that he owed his life to spiritual food. The diet is directed at adults who are in good health. Unlike many other diets, there is no stated time limit for this diet. Its objectives are two fold: namely, weight loss and approaching God via the practice of eating divine food.

The Hallelujah Diet also includes an optional transition phase for people who feel that their bodies need time to adapt to the new regime and effectively detoxify their systems. This diet excludes all foods of animal origin with one single exception, honey. The only permitted foods are fruits, legumes, and some nuts and grains. Furthermore, a full eighty five percent of your food must be raw, which, in the eyes of this diet, is food as it was created by God. Permitted cooked foods include coffee (is that a food?), infusions, organic juices, soups, cereals, beans, and fruit.

You are strongly advised to be aware of any detoxification symptoms. The many symptoms include minor headaches, nausea, fatigue, skin breakouts, and diarrhea. Give your body time to adust to this detoxification. I am no doctor but I would strongly suggest that you stop should things really get out of hand.

While this diet has the advantage of consuming lots of fruits and vegetables it lacks many basic nutrients. Furthermore, it does not take exercise into account. The Hallelujah diet does not provide balanced and varied food. While iIt tends to be effective in the short term, but it is not in the long run. In my mind another disadvantage is that the diet does not make any particular mention of wine. A quick look at the Internet revealed a few Hallelujah Diett books in both traditional and e-book format.

Here are is a sample menu : For breakfast: enjoy your bowl of whole grain cereal with soy milk, an apple and a cup of tea. Lunch time means celery salad, green beans, and a pie made from dates and apples. Your mid-afternoon snack is a carrot juice and almonds. For supper you may indulge yourself with broccoli soup, vegetable noodles, a glass of almond milk, and two clementines.

The Polish Money Attractor

Copyright (c) 2014 Joe Vitale

I love asking people in the countries I visit about their customs. One of my favorite questions is, "What secrets do you have for attracting money or anything else?"

In Russia I learned about Hochun, the Siberian "wish maker." I love him as a tool for focusing on intentions. Pat O'Bryan and I released our own version of him at The Secret Russian Wish Maker.

In Poland I learned that you can attract money if you hang a painting of a Jewish man counting gold coins in your home or office.

My friend Andrzej Batko said he bought such a painting, placed it in his office, and it worked. I of course wanted one, too.

We found one in Krackow. I loved it, bought it, and am having it framed right now. When my new office is completed, I'll hang it where I can see it.

Actually, it's now framed…

This raises the question: Do these items actually work?

I don't know. But my theory is this: if it doesn't hurt you to hang a painting or look at an image, then why not do it? When something is fun, adds to the positive energy for your desire, it has to be good.

Here's something even more fascinating:

I met famed Polish photographer Grzegorz Syllain in Warsaw. He followed me around one day and took pictures of me shopping for cigars and clothes. His teenage daughter followed and helped.

When we stopped to have coffee, I asked his daughter what she enjoyed doing. She said painting. I then told them what I learned about the Polish custom of having the money attractor painting. They both knew the power of the painting.

But they didn't see what was coming next.

"When I go back to Texas and write about my painting, people will want one for their home or office, too. The thing is, I won't have anywhere to send them to buy a painting. If you would set up a website, and your daughter would paint the art, I could direct them to you."

His daughter loved the idea.

He loved the idea.

"If you do this, you could attract enough money for school or anything else you want."

They nodded with excitement.

I then challenged them.

"I want you to start painting and to get the site up by the time I return to the States in three days. If you do, I'll tell my readers about it."

Grzegorz quickly agreed.

So did his daughter.

"I don't want a penny for this," I explained. "I want to see you act on this idea. This is the secret to attracting success in life; when the idea is there, honor it and act on it."

Sure enough, they honored their word.

Their site is now up at Polish Money Attractor Painting.

If I were you, I'd do two things right now:

1. Write down an idea you've had and haven't acted on yet.

2. Act on it.

Oh.

And go get your own original Polish Money Attractor Painting.

What if it works?

Today Application of Yesterday Miracles

In this lesson, we will explore the first recorded miracle associated with the actual ministry of Jesus Christ as documented in the New Testament Gospels- Turning Water into Wine!

I have spent a day or two behind a stove and many more days at tables of some of the South's best cooks. I guess you can say, I have an affinity for fine food- especially great home cooked meals.. I enjoy the taste, the touch, the sight, the feel, the back story and surely the wonderful cooked creations of food. A few Friday's ago, I went to a fish fry hosted by one of my members in Houston Texas. This weekly tradition had all the expected features- fried okra, French fries, coleslaw, hushpuppies, fried tilapia, fried catfish and a host of beverages. It was a night to remember. As my family and sat at the table of grandma Booker sharing, she offered me something unexpected- Shrimp Creole. I was first shocked for I only expected fried fish and secondly for this was the absolute best Shrimp Creole I have had in my entire life- and mind you this is coming from a preacher with a history of owning and operating restaurants in the famed French quarter of New Orleans.

In my mind, I marvel at the greatness on display in the life of others. Many play basketball but Lebron James plays at a different level. Many brothers across the America are playing footballl, yet the Peyton brothers achieve on a higher level. No, I can not compare these or Grandma's Shrimp Creole to Jesus, but we must say Jesus and His Church are different from all the others.. Then my mind traveled to ask 'why was Jesus able to turn water into wine in such a short time and without the aid of grapes'. In this lesson we ponder those questions about the miracle enologist from Galilee on a wonderful day back in the village of Cana.

How many miracles did Jesus perform? I often teach 35 while others teach slightly less or slightly more. In this study we explore 40 miracles lessons featuring Jesus. When we add the virgin birth, the miracles of a "group" nature such as verses that say many people were healed in conjunction with the miracles after the Resurrection to include the ascension this number increases. There are many miracles of Jesus recorded in the NT. In this believing in miracles series, I will teach life application significance related to 40 specific miracles in the bible related to Jesus Christ. Remember, prayer and studying the bible are tools of communication and connection to God. each miracle speaks truth in our lives..

In this article, we study the miracle of turning water into wine. The modernistic connection to this miracle is in learning how to seize opportunity and recognize destiny moments in life. No one does it like Jesus. Making wine without grapes. Wow!.What a taste! What is impossible with man is possible with God. When there is no way, Jesus is the way. When all potential solutions fail, Jesus has a new plan of success. When you look and see hopelessness, through the eyes of Jesus there is always opportunity.

The Water Into Wine Miracle is recorded in John 2:1-11. We will study the back story, the life significance and then be guided in the art of prayer.

First, The Back Story-

Before Jesus life changing circuit of public ministry, he performed a miracle of changing water into wine at a family wedding banquet in the village of Cana, in Galilee, which is a region in the land of Israel. Jesus, his mother, Mary, and his disciples were guests at the wedding. It is believed that the Father Joseph deceased at the time of this event. It is wise to further conclude this was a family wedding based on Mary's reaction to the problem. At some point in the festivities, the wine was totally consumed. Mary then brings the problem to Jesus. Jesus hesitates so it appears and then as they say the rest is history. Mary orders the helpers to do whatever Jesus request and miraculously the water turns into wine. Jesus ordered six water pots filled to with water. The master of the banquet called the bridegroom over "and said, 'Everyone brings out the choice wine first and then the cheaper wine after the guests have had too much to drink; but you have saved the best till
now' " In the next verse, John the Apostle wrote: "What Jesus did here in Cana of Galilee was the first of the signs through which he revealed his glory; and his disciples believed in him". The bible is the best commentary for itself. The closing verse reveals this was Jesus first miracle performed.. So what? I know the bible seems like rules to a trivia game church people play?

Second, The Life Application:

Too many times we miss opportunities to be a witness to others. God has tasked each and every member of the body of Christ to be "fishers of men" meaning we each have a duty to spread the Word of God to everyone we meet. The pessimistic sees the glass half full while the optimist sees the glass with potential to overflow. What do you see?. Whether that is a kind word to someone standing next to you in line, a hug of encouragement to someone in need, or offering prayer to someone in crisis, look for the opportunity to be a example of Christ.

Third, The Miracle Mind of Prayer:

Heavenly Father, open my eyes so that I may see and my ears so that I may hear and never miss the opportunity to bring your kingdom glory. Let everything that I say and do be pleasing to you, Lord. Thank you that I am sensitive to the voice of the Holy Spirit acting as a vessel for your love to pour through me.

Here are some great verses for additional study and reference on applying the miracle lesson of Jesus' Virgin Birth into your life-

Diet Menus And Plans - Reviewing The Glycemic Index Diet

There are literally dozens and dozens of diet plans and menus out there, some of which place quite an accent on wine. The Glycemic Index Diet, also known as the G I Diet, was created by Rick Gallop. The glycemic index is a measure of blood sugar level. During digestion glucides are transformed into glucose. Reducing the GI level helps you lose weight. Low-GI foods such as dried apricots, dark chocolate, fruit, whole-grain rice, and cheese have a GI less than 55. High GI foods such as French fries, white rice, and watermelon have a GI greater than 70 and should be avoided. This diet has two phases. The first phase lasts between 15 days and a month. The second phase may last a lifetime. Here are some of the principles.

Eat foods with a low GI. During the initial phase every week eat 4 to 5 portions of fish without sauce, one or two portions of meat also without sauce, one or two eggs, and one or two portions of ham. Eat all the vegetables and legumes and drink all the water and green tea that you desire. Accompany your main meal with three fruits daily. During phase 2 continue these habits but add one or two portions of daily products (preferably light) and one or two chocolate squares daily. Add whole-grain cereals and breads, and basmati rice in moderate amounts. Accompany the grains and rice with green vegetables. The following principles apply to both phases. Use colza, olive, and walnut oils. Drink only water, tea without sugar, or a maximum of two glasses of red wine per day. Eat three meals and up to two snacks a day but don't graze. Keep mealtime stress free. Walk an hour a day and exercise three additional hours a week.

The Glycemic Index Diet offers several benefits for diabetics. It is also said to fight against aging, cancer, and some cardio-vascular illnesses. For me an advantage of this diet is permitting up to two glasses of red wine per day. The disadvantage is reviewing and changing food habits.

Here is a sample menu associated with Phase 1. Your breakfast: is a cup of green tea and a mashed banana along with sliced almonds. For lunch have a salad composed of dandilions, clover, and lettuce with bell peppers, cucumbers, and olives. Then enjoy pureed turnips and carrots. Dessert is two prunes. For supper indulge in pumpkin soup, a filet of sole, and a side dish of squash. Dessert is a compote made from apples and raspberries.

The Benefits of Light-hearted Comedic Discussion Forums

If you have ever encountered a computer connected to the internet, you know it can be quite a chaotic place. While cyberspace can be a bastion of fun, passion-driven discussions on all sorts of important topics, it can also be an endless pit of cringe-worthy ignorance and ugliness. The comments section on online video clips is almost enough to convince even the most humanitarian individual that it may just be better for civilization as we know it to be cleansed mercilessly with fire in order for us to progress as a species. However, there is hope. One of the most effective ways in combating this kind of negative behavior (or at least prevent it from infecting you) is to keep things light. Most comedic discussion forums are aware of their environmental make-up and work hard to make their sites safe places for all kinds of social discussions.

One way you can keep comedy in even the most heated and heavy discussions is by remembering that losing or winning an argument has no effect on whether or not you are still allowed to maintain your own opinion on the matter in question. One conversation on the internet is not an accurate assessment about your intelligence and ethical status, so try not to take it too seriously. Remember, you always have the choice to walk away before it gets bitter and mean-spirited, as many online debates often do.

This ties directly into the idea that you must also have a handle on perspective. It can take some practice to develop a system that keeps you from getting out of hand, but frustration can be managed. Economic online discourse demands that we are aware of who we are in the larger social conversation. We are not, as individuals, expected to be total experts on everything we have ideas on. Some contextual knowledge is, of course, rightly expected when engaging in a conversation, but remember that you are still learning. If your focus in a discussion is on becoming a better student of the argument and topic, there is hardly a way you can come out if the experience without having picked up or learned something of merit.

When it comes to exchanges on the internet, you can find people willing to pick a fight about anything. Whether it's an argument over One Direction and Justin Bieber or the merits of laissez-faire capitalism, there will be people there to push your buttons right alongside those willing to talk. Keeping your cool is essential in continuing to enjoy great social media sites and in maintaining a calm, level-headed composure on comedic discussion forums. We learn best from one another, after all, when we are willing to be open minded, relaxed, and intellectually challenging with each other, so finding and supporting spaces that provide that kind of environment is essential.

The miracles of Jesus are infinite in number. This lesson represents the numerous nameless individuals whom encountered the power of Jesus Christ. The troubles of the many were grouped into two categories- the diseased and the demon possessed. We further learn Jesus healed through laying on of hands and in the power of his words. You have a Voice: Live Online Discussion Forums

One of the benefits of having such easy access to the economic exchange of ideas we call the internet is that it is universally empowering. Having a tool that allows you to read and compose your thoughts, then publish them, has huge consequences, especially for the younger generations who have never grown up knowing what it feels like to not have anywhere to turn for this kind of social discussion or exchange. No matter how badly written a blog post is, you can almost bank on the fact that it will be read by someone, somewhere, and might even garner a response. Sometimes, the mostly poorly written posts, riddled with atrocious spelling errors, can even attract the most comments. This guarantee of attention is, to some degree, a huge influence on the way that social media sites are structuring their social discussion forums.

By chasing a passion for freedom of speech and empowerment, these websites are looking at environmental, social, and other factors in order to create space on the web that encourages comedy and intellectual discussion. They are both necessary. Web debates and discourse can often turn ugly, and maintaining a sense of humor can keep us focused on the pursuit of truth and mutual respect. One of the most effective ways of fighting against injustice and ignorance is by building communities and befriending other people with whom you can connect. It is this sense of connection that can bring about real organization, which leads to the possibility of real change in the world. These websites are important because they allow us the ability to do just that - transform our own sense of identity into one that is powerful in order to turn communities into agents of change.

Feeling like you don't have a say in the way that things are going in the world, and even in your own life, is a rough burden to carry. Many of us experience it at one point or another - most of us in our teenage years. Blogging using social media sites is a great way to start combating feelings of helplessness and voiceless frustration, both inside and outside of yourself. This is a way that you can connect to your inner power. The more aware a website is of the potential it has as a cyberspace to create opportunities for that power of self-expression to arise, the better it is. Social media sites are among the most aware sites available on the web right now, and they are inspirational to view as innovative trail blazers helping to create a better, more powerful internet for stronger, more powerful people. You have a voice. Live online discussion forums are just one popular and easy way of accessing it.

Top Four Things to Stop Wasting Time On

I personally cannot stand wasting time. We only have a limited amount of time during the day, and a limited amount of time on this earth, so why would anyone want to waste their life? Now I'm not saying that we should all try to be working or productive 24/7, we all need to have fun sometimes, but there are so many lazy people in the world that they probably don't even realize that they're wasting their life, which they'll regret when they get older. Here are some of the biggest ways people waste times:

1.) On The Internet- Don't get me wrong here, I love the internet, and actually spend a lot of time on the internet. The difference between what I do and what I'm mentioning is that I try to spend my time on the internet as productive as possible. I do use it for non productive things sometimes, but I try to counter that with productivity by writing, reading, learning, and trying to add some supplement income like I'm doing right now by writing this. What I'm talking about here are the people that sit on facebook.com all day, or play games, or things like this. I also use Facebook.com as I feel it's important to keep in touch with people from the past, but I try not to waste any time on there. A good rule of thumb there is to not log in unless you want to message someone, or someone messaged you (sign up for email alerts).

2.) Television- This is probably the biggest waste of time in the history of humans. So many people waste so much time a day watching TV, and if you research what your brain activity looks like while you read, and while you watch TV, you'd be amazed. I do watch TV occasionally, but I have cut down on the amount of TV considerably, and I think I'd be better off if the cable was canceled, especially since if there's anything I do want to watch, I can usually find it online.

3.) Video Games- Kids especially, waste so much time playing video games. I'll admit, I used to play video games a good amount when I was Middle School, and early high school, but as I got older I realized they weren't so fun anymore, and I'm glad I did. After living so long without them, I actually decided to try them again, and its just not the same. I'm really glad that I don't find them fun anymore, as they're such a huge waste of time. They can be fun, but I like to spend my "wasteful fun time" doing stuff with other people, or going outside or leaving the house

4.) Texting- People waste so much time on their cell phones. The same conversation taking place through text messages could be accomplished in about 30 seconds if you just called the person. The purpose of text messages were to tell someone a quick note like Don't forget the meeting, but since people use it for full drawn out conversations, it's just become a huge waste of money and time.

Thinking Of Dieting - The Genotype Diet

There are literally dozens and dozens of diet menus and plans, some of which place a major emphasis on wine. The Genotype Diet, created by Peter J. d'Adamo, is not one of them, and makes no special mention of wine. Let's look at it anyway.

The Genotype Diet centers on the interaction between genes and the environment. According to d'Adamo food may be used to change your genes' behavior. He classifies alll people into six genotypes: hunters, gatherers, teachers, explorers, warriors, and nomads. The hunter's diet is carnivorous and low in glutens and lectins. The gatherer's diet is low in glucides and protein-rich. The teacher's diet is rich in phytonutrients. The explorer's diet is quite varied. The warrior's diet is rich in glucides and phytonutrients, and the nomad's diet is omnivorous but low in glutens and lectins. Here are some of the Genotype Diet principles.

If you wish to follow this diet, the first thing to do is determine your genotype. To do so requires two calculations that depend on the relative size of your bust and your legs, as well as that of your index finger and your ring finger. The rules are too complicated and long to restate here. Once you know your genotype access the appropriate lists of recommended foods, foods to avoid, and portion size. Once again, these lists are long. Under the advice of your doctor take supplements. Practice sports, the most appropriate sports will depend on your genotype.

The Genotype Diet has the advantage of allowing the consumption of all food groups. It relies on good dietary habits over the long run rather than short-term restrictions. One disadvantage is the total lack of scientific evidence to support it. This disadvantage is not unique to the Genotype Diet.

Here is a sample menu, one destined for nomads: For breakfast have a slice of whole grain bread, an egg, a slice of Camebert cheese, a fruit salad composed of strawberries, raspberries, and kiwis with a cup of tea. Lunch means grated carrots and sea cabbage with salmon. For supper enjoy asparagus in a vinegar based dressing, 150 grams (about 5 ounces) of turkey, grilled eggplants, a slice of cheddar cheese, and a pear.

You won't have any trouble finding a Genotype Diet book on the Internet. A quick search even unearthed a video featuring the author, D'Adamo himself. To be honest, I have yet to see it. Perhaps if he gave more accent to wine, as some other diets do, I would have taken a peek.

Traits of an Effective Leader

Leadership may seem difficult to distinguish. It is easily recognizable but quite complicated to explain. It is a crucial factor in any corporate entity. Leaders are expected to instill discipline and organize the structure so the enterprise will prosper. However, only competent managers can accomplish these complex tasks. You need to acquire leadership skills to turn out into adept managers.

The first is to build trust. This is the nucleus of leadership. Subordinates look forward to leaders for purpose, direction and motivation. The leader is the role model in an organization. In fact, leaders can make the organization successful or bring it down. Employees, who feel that managers are upright and capable, are inspired to work harder. On the contrary, inept leaders will certainly not be followed by subordinates.

An effective leader is also an excellent communicator. An intelligent person who has no communication aptitude is most likely a mediocre manager. Communication abilities will allow you to interact with co-workers, other managers, clients, and stakeholders in the company. A good leader also needs to build a macro perspective which encompasses the organization's future. Learn from past experiences and see how everything is working at present to pursue a bright future.

Practice the concepts that you preach. It is not enough to speak about positive work attitude, proper business principles and wholesome relationships. Convince subordinates that you are capable of practicing these theories and convince everyone to work harder for the welfare of the company. Motivate the persons under you to strive and in doing so, enhance personal development. Inspired workers are inclined to become more productive.

Leaders must recognize achievements of staff members. You need to extol others for accomplishments but maintain a low profile for your own feats. The true leader will never claim credit for what a colleague has done. On the contrary, you must accept responsibility for anything that goes wrong and work quickly to remedy the problem. Competent leaders are concerned about the success of staff members and look into the advancement of peers.

A leader should have an exceptional character and be relied upon to lead other people. You need to be upright and show integrity. There should be a great deal of enthusiasm in your work. Subordinates will react more candidly to someone with passion and commitment. The leader should be a source of encouragement and energize others toward a mandatory act or cause. You should be perceived as leading the team working towards company goals.
