This article is about four quick and efficient ways you can make your life better by optimizing your human energy system and inner bio-computers.

It's like picking up a computer virus - it just doesn't work in your inner bio-computers. There are only three possible results:

-- You end up running a program you don't want.

-- You use valuable system resources to get past that program.

-- Your system crashes - and that's how people end up with mysterious conditions like AIDS, mononucleosis, lupus, allergies and MS.

Now, getting your system completely clear and tuned up is a long process that's best done with an integration coach - but of course I would say that! Fortunately, there are a few simple things you can do to get started. Do these four things every day, and your life will get brighter and clearer as your innate programs start to work again:

-- Stay in the Now as much as possible. When you find your attention wandering, bring it back whatever you are doing now. When you find yourself stressed or worried, treat that issue like a cloud passing by. Oh, look - a memory of pain… There it goes again… If it's in the past or future, you can't affect it anyway, so stay in the Now where/when you can have fun creating the life you'd really like!

-- Start your day with gratitude. Every morning, think of five things you are thankful for, however small. This sets your bio-energetic field to the right vibration, and it keeps your focus where it should be: on all the great things happening for you right now.

-- Speak ONLY the words that you want to experience. Don't talk about what you don't want (like, "I'm worried about paying my bills"); instead, keep saying "I'm thankful that all my bills are covered with ease" or "my income is rising every day". Put yourself on a 'negativity' fast - for 21 days, let only positive words pass your lips.

-- ONLY DO ONE THING AT A TIME. Multi-tasking is the primary cause of stress. Take your time, and give your whole attention to whatever you are doing, minute by minute. You'll do it better and enjoy it more - whatever it is!

Reading is always a good thing to do. The surprising thing is that no matter what book you read, you can always gain something if you've at least a partial attitude of "what can I get out of this?" Even if you're reading fiction, you can model some of the behaviors of the protagonists. You can also do this through reading biographies of famous people. Of course, reading traditional "self help" books is helpful as well. Just always be on the lookout for material that you can use in everyday life.

Exercise is another thing that will dramatically help. It helps you to slim down, which makes you feel better about yourself. It gives you better posture, which changes the way people respond to you. It will create endorphins, which give you a tremendous mental boost. No matter how you slice it, working out on a regular basis is an easy and quick way to get better at life.

If you stick to the same old routine, you might start to stagnate. Always try out new things, so you can learn and grow. The more you step out of your comfort zone, ever so slightly, the more you'll be able to handle the everyday challenges that life throws at everybody.

Having an interesting hobby is also a good idea. It gives you something to look forward to. It can be a mental shelter from the everyday stresses of life. It gives you something to focus your mental energy and skills on. It can add dramatic purpose to your life.

Meeting new people is also a great way to expand your horizons. Because people come in all sizes, shapes, colors and backgrounds, you'll always learn something new. One of the great benefits of society is the collaborative effort of so many different people. The more people you meet that are better than you, the more you'll grow.

You'll find these activities can be both immediately rewarding and beneficial in the long run. The more you do them, the more of a well rounded, highly skilled person you'll become. Then you can really squeeze life for all it's worth.

Follow these simple tips and you'll be sooooooo not the best! Enjoy!

5) Look to the Housewives of New Jersey and Jersey Shore as your role models for your personal life. you can be. Divulge confidential information, deny it, evade the authorities, and then get paid lots of money for sharing your.... ahem... "knowledge" with the world! Celebrate frivolity--and make sure to set the best example of the worst behavior so your little ones can grow up to be so bad, they get their own reality TV show.

6) Stomp out exercise, avoid good food, and forget that whole organic kick altogether. Purchase some of that lovely Stuff Posing As Meat and don't forget to make sure to get the pop top (because can openers take work) so you can serve up everyone's favorite for breakfast, lunch, and dinner...; and don't forget, Spam sushi is a delicacy! Also, be sure to skip meals regularly so your blood sugar will be at an all-time low and you'll feel like something scooped out of the cat box. (Don't you dare change your cat box either--You've got to be the best pig in your house you can be.)

7) While you're at it, become the best couch potato you can be, and get yourself a pet slug for inspiration. (Put it in Tupperware and be sure to NOT punch air holes in the top.) Don't forget to do the same to yourself. Never go outside. Try to get such low levels of Vitamin D that you earn the nickname "Morticia". Make 'em negative in fact. Sunshine and good clean, fresh air are so last century. Even Thoreau wasn't really deep in the woods like he said he was. (Just go visit his little cabin at Walden Pond and you'll know what I'm talking about.)

8) Be sure to take out all your old baggage, dust it off, and display it proudly in your living room and front porch. Stick it in your trunk so it's available for any and all unanticipated encounters, either with that %$#^&%*$ that just cut you off, or with any old exes that shattered your heart. Hold on to bitterness and nurse it with the sour milk of revenge. Make a new voicemail message that disses all the people you despise and details the mean-spirited things you'd like to do to them. Be the best malcontent in your dark corner of the world--As Frost said, "Good fences make good neighbors." Wall yourself into your petty, snively world and forget about being of service to humanity or taking care of the environment. Be the best at selfishness and strive to leave a carbon footprint that makes Sasquatch look like a dwarf.

Well my friend, you get the idea of how to be the best at not being your best. And if you implement these tips and refuse any actual good help, you'll be a successful failure. Plus, you can gild that pity pot in gold and loudly and proudly make excuses (real reasons are so passe') for not making positive change in your life.

What will it be? It's your choice, isn't it?

Over 50 Dating - He's Not My Type and What the Mature Dater Can Do About It!

How many hours have you spent looking at men online thinking this man is handsome but he's just not my type. He's not my religion, we live in different areas of our city, he's too old, he's too young and the list goes on.

For me, it was guys who were extremely athletic. I thought of them as narcissistic and placed judgment on them for wanting their bodies to be super toned. My body is - let's say voluptuous and curvy with a few extra LBS' attached.

I was afraid of being judged by them so I judged them first and totally knocked them off my list of possibilities.

In fact, in my first experience with eHarmony, they would continually match me with men who felt physical fitness was a #1 priority. I actually called and said, "Could you stop sending me these types of men?" and they laughed saying I was the only person EVER to do that. I was worried about being judged for who I am yet I was judging them for who they were. I was not "feeling it" in my comfort zone for sure.

Fast-forward about 9 years. I am with a wonderful man who is very much out of my usual box of feeling comfy with both religion and age. In the past, I always chose to date certain "Male Types." I loved them but was extremely unsuccessful in my relationships with them. Why?

Because what I truly desired was a man who could shower me with lots of affection and attention and the type of man I always chose wasn't able to do that. The men I'd chosen in the past, were into their intellect which totally stimulated my mind but not my body and soul.

The man I now am in a committed relationship with is very loving. He would do anything for me and for the first time, I am feeling really happy in a relationship. I'm not yearning for that illusive something that was missing in the past.

It took me going way out of my comfort zone of what I was used to so I could find happiness with a man.

To find happiness and contentment in a relationship with a man, you may want to go outside your own comfort zone and try a different type of man than you are used to. When you think of the men you have dated or married, do you find a common theme, something in their personality or background that was similar?

We create patterns and we often continue following those paths even though they no longer work for us!

Tonight when you are browsing your favorite dating sites, take a look at 5 men you may have passed up because they did not fit your idea of the type man you thought you wanted. This can include men who contacted you but you wrote off for not fitting your "What I Want in a Man Test." Give yourself the opportunity to revisit them and see if there is anything that might now appear interesting to you. You may find yourself resisting these men - feeling a strong urge to go back to the kind of man that you are used to.

Keep in mind that what you are used to may not have worked in the past!

Give yourself permission to feel uncomfortable and allow yourself to respond to one of these men you may have crossed off your list in the past for being different than the type of man you are used to. I really resisted the man I am with now. He is the one who persisted and thank God he did because I may never have experienced this kind of happiness, compatibility and love with a man had I caved into my fears about being out of my comfort zone.

I'd love to see you find what I have found- a great Quality Man to be with. So get yourself online and look at all kinds of men to date. The worst that can happen is you have a coffee date that goes no where but the best may happen and you may find exactly what you have been looking for but might never have tried if you hadn't gone out of your zone of comfort.

Easy Tricks To Powerfully Supercharge Your Memory

Are you great remembering names? Most people aren't. Even two minutes after meeting somebody, their name vanishes from our minds faster than ice cream on a hot sidewalk. Same goes with facts, figures, grocery lists, and, um, what was I about to say? The good news is that there are plenty of tricks you can do that will dramatically improve your ability to remember almost anything. The more often you do these tricks, the better memory you'll have.

One thing to understand is that your memory is just like a muscle. If you don't use it, it will turn into a blob of useless flab that is only strong enough to get you up off the couch and to the refrigerator. But when you exercise it regularly, your mind can be as strong as the Incredible Hulk. Except for the green angry stuff.

How do you exercise your brain? One way is through imagination. The more you actively visualize things, the stronger your memory will get. We think in terms of pictures, whether we know it or not. Consider this, when you see somebody, how do you know if you know them or not? Your brain takes a brief snapshot of their face, sorts through your memory, and compares the picture you see with the picture that's in your head. Then it tells you, in about 0.2 seconds, that you know this person. If you didn't think in pictures, this would be impossible. You would have to wait to hear them talk, or smell them or lick them or something.

When you want to remember certain items, like a person's name, or things on a grocery list, simply link what you want to know to what you already know. The way you link things together is with big, crazy, cartoon-like pictures. Say you see a guy coming towards you at a party. He introduces himself as "Mike." You quickly think of a microphone. Then simply picture his face, or something unique about his body or clothes, and connect it to a crazy, cartoon-like picture of a microphone. For example, if he's got a big nose, then imagine a big microphone hanging out of his nose or something. That way, you'll never forget his name.

A good way to practice this is simply check out a few baby name websites. Practice thinking of pictures of common, everyday items that make you think of their names. Whatever works for you is fine. And since you're never, ever, going to tell anybody how you specifically remember names, you an be as politically incorrect as you like.

You can remember other things the same way. One way is by connecting a list of things you want to remember, say a grocery list, to a list of things you already know, like parts of your body, or rooms in your house. Just hook them up with crazy pictures, and it will be much easier to remember them.

When you start doing this, you'll be amazed how easy it is. And then you'll never forget anybody's name ever again, and you'll soon be the talk of the town.

The Most Common Mistakes In Personal Development

Everybody would like to improve themselves. But most of us flounder along without any real clue of how to make any lasting changes. It seems that the more effort we put in, the more stuck we seem. This can be incredibly frustrating. It's enough to make you want to give up, turn on the TV and start shoveling endless handfuls of onion flavored potato chips in your mouth. Or something like that. The good news is you don't have to confine yourself to the couch. By avoiding the most common mistakes, you will easily be able to notice solid and consistent growth and improvement over time.

Most people start off by focusing on their weaknesses. This rarely works. In a fantastic book called "The Solutions Focus," Authors Jackson and McKergow showed how focusing on your strengths is a much better strategy. For example, if you are overweight and would like to lose weight, focusing on all those chips you ate won't help. But focusing on the walk you went on last night will give you a lot more motivation. When you focus as much energy as you can on your strengths, your weaknesses will often vanish on their own.

Another mistake we make is to not set concrete goals. Many people have vague goals like increased self confidence and better social skills. But unless you have a specific and objective way to measure your progress, you'll have no way of knowing if you are making any headway or not. Choose something specific, something achievable, and give yourself a specific amount of time. If this is your first time at goal setting, go easy on yourself. If your goal is more self confidence, for example, set a goal of introducing yourself to one stranger in the next two weeks. Once you've achieved that goal, set another one that's slightly bigger.

Many people have a clear idea of what to do, but they don't start until tomorrow. The problem is that tomorrow never comes. It's never tomorrow, it's always today. Instead of starting later, start now. Do something. Anything to get moving, and build more momentum.

Many people suffer from paralysis by analysis. This means they think too much. In truth, this is really a tactic to keep themselves from failing. If they make it too complicated, then they have an excuse not to act. Simplify. Make a goal to walk around the block. Get up and start walking. When you're done, choose a different and slightly more challenging goal for tomorrow. Don't worry about how fast you should walk or what you should wear or what should you say if you should see your neighbor or anything else. Just get up and start walking.

In addition to have super small, easy to achieve goals, you've got to have big goals that you're targeting over a much longer time period. For example, if you'd like to have supreme self confidence, then a one or two year goal might be to give a speech in front of at least five hundred people. If you consistently take small steps, you'll get there without any problems. Most people either choose a big goal without any way of getting there, or choose only small goals and meander all over the place. When you combine these two methods, you'll be truly unstoppable.

Improving yourself really isn't difficult or overly challenging. Choose a big goal. Break it up into small, manageable steps. Get started. Now.
