Creating Is Your Donation To Life

For some life is brief in time; for others life is brief in exploit. For a few daring souls however, life is a magnificent adventure - an opportunity to achieve, an opportunity to connect, an opportunity to be and become, to create, to feel fulfilled. The essence of the human endeavor is a collective expression of growth relating and creating.

By embracing opportunity - promoting laughter instead of tears, encouraging growth instead of stagnation, pursuing completion instead of comfort - we act to fulfill our potential. By bestowing on others the treasure of our priceless gifts and unique personal talents we in return receive the inexhaustible support of people sharing their distinctive capacities. By giving of ourselves we receive limitless reward.

Human beings are social creatures on journeys of discovery. We relate to each other. We relate to circumstances. We relate to the environments of this world. We seek relentlessly to contribute, to leave a creative mark - a legacy for our having passed this way.

Relate to what is and create what you come to believe can be. As the product of living is feelings, leave good feelings wherever you go and love will swell in your wake.

With imagination as your guide fashion something new out of existing circumstances. Through your prevailing thoughts you unearth and create the drama (comedy, tragedy, love story) you become party to. Relate and create as a matter of course and as the purpose for your being.

Life is a quest - a mission - a mission revealed by living it. For some the mission is explicit and defined. For others the mission is imprecise and unclear - ripe for interpretation. In attempting to complete your mission you might embark on off-road excursions and wander into uncharted territory - that's okay. Life carries you both where you request to go and where you should go.

If where you are feels good and feels right, you have chosen your path well. If what you encounter troubles you, choose again, and learn from your choice.

You have a note to sing to make the melody of life sweet. You have a chapter to write to complete the saga. Your time is not lost, nor your efforts advanced in vain. The purpose of life is as simple as this: relate to what you encounter and create what the world lacks.

Love life and life will love you. If you do the part prescribed precisely for you, you will live a full and fulfilling life, relating and creating. You will feel joy.

The Cherokee expressed these sentiments this way:

"When you were born, you cried and the world rejoiced.
Live your life so that when you die, the world cries and you rejoice."

Creating is your donation to life; relating to creation is your reward. Relate to what is, contribute to life and receive more life. Get busy. Opportunities are unlimited but your time is not.
