The famous German doctor and psychologist Sigmund Freud is credited for developing Psychodynamic Therapy. It has evolved during the previous years and emerged as a more aggressive technique to address depression. Counselors have become more pro-active and serve as mentors to assist patients in managing fits of depression. It is different from the conventional psychoanalysis. In this kind of therapy, the relationship between patients and therapists is deemed as a vital factor in therapeutic involvement. Therefore, this element is critical in curing the patient.
