To make our lives more worthwhile, having relevant dreams are necessary, and purposeful - not only for us alone, but for people around us, too.
How does one create an ultimate dream? Here are 3 steps.
Define your wants and needs. Look into your innermost self and think of what would really make you happy. Will it be a long-lasting happiness which will not only complete you as a person, but help the others around you as well? Is it a selfish dream, or a dream that will benefit a lot of people?

You have two types of home management tools: downloadable desktop applications or web-based applications. The Power of Self-Expression

How many of you have had trouble expressing what you want to say or what you'd like to do or who you'd like to be? You might not be sure how to put it into words? It could also be that you're not sure how, exactly, you like to communicate what you want to say, what you want to do or who you want to be? Should you be direct, tell it in a story, use metaphors, descriptive language or not say anything at all?
Often we find ourselves getting stuck in a conversation or, sometimes, in situations of challenge and we land up stumbling over ourselves as we try to desperately say what's on our mind. It isn't uncommon for people to find it difficult to express themselves clearly and effortlessly. We tend to judge ourselves and what we might have to say. We might perceive that our words aren't articulated properly or that our language isn't eloquent enough or that we're just terrible at communicating and should hold ourselves back and keep things to ourselves.
There are so many people who have these emotional charges and blocks around opening themselves up to others and the world around them. We are certainly not immune to this and I'm sure all of you have experienced this dilemma many times in your lives. We repress what is truly important for us to express, as a result. Unfortunately, when we repress or suppress our expression for long enough, the body has very uncomfortable and, often, painful ways of revealing what we're hiding inside.
As an adult, it isn't easy opening ourselves up and sharing who we are with the world. We have become so accustomed to holding back and becoming very private. The problem, as I mentioned before, is that whatever you hold in eventually gets pushed out anyway. Think back, for a moment, to when you were a young child. Did you hold yourself back? Did you just speak what was on your mind? Did you share with the people that love you, what you wanted to do or be? Most kids would have no problem blurting out how they feel. They are openly expressive and communicative. They share what's going on for them and their expressions are highly descriptive, creative, imaginative, free, unaffected and more. So when did it become such a challenge for adults?
As we grow up we pick up lots of beliefs, values, projections and injections from the world around us. We are taught to be kind without being cruel, to be nice without being mean, to give instead of receive, to say yes more than no and to behave without ever misbehaving. We are conditioned to hold back because if we let go, we'd land up feeling guilty or shameful - concerned about how we might impact the world around us by being who we are.
It is so important to share what's in our heart, our souls true calling or purpose in this world. There is nothing more valuable than expressing who we are, how feel, our dissatisfactions, our objections, our visions, our dreams and our goals. Holding any of those elements inside of ourselves will only compromise who we are and what we are destined for. Expression is so powerful and can impact others in such a profound way, just by doing so. Don't keep anything to yourself, especially if others need to hear it. It doesn't matter what the consequences might be. It would be worse not to say or express anything at all.

Law Of Attraction - Is It A Fantacy?
The Book and the film "The Secret" captivated and inspired a lot of folks. The book was on the best seller list in 2006 and moved over 21 million copies. It was based on the "Law of Attraction" and talked about how people can have what ever they thirst to have in life by simply thinking positively, focusing on what they desire, having faith in that they will have what they aspire and thanking upfront for the results they would like. It got plenty of popularity because it made the "Law of Attraction" appear to be an easy way to get anything you itch for in life without having to take any real action.
It endorsed the idea that you can get everything you have a passion for even if you are passive. Determining what you aspire, recording your objectives, imagining having actually achieved your goals and believing that you can have what you want is getting ready to take action, it is not action itself. Without a doubt, the idea of obtaining anything without actually working for it appeals to the masses. The majority of individuals would more willingly do all the elements that the "The Secret" taught instead of taking the actual actions and working to achieve their objectives.
I must admit, for a long time I was a huge fan of the movie. I even invited friends to sit down with me and watch the movie. I loved it! It motivated me, gave me hope and it excited me. I can't even recall how many times I saw it.
However, the problem is that the 'Law of Attraction' does not work if you do not take any specific action! Taking action is pivotal if you desire to have or achieve anything in life. "The Secret" failed to address that. Things don't just come into being by you thinking about them and focusing on them. It would be nice if they did, but they don't.
So, is the "Law of Attraction" real?
Absolutely yes, I do believe that the "Law of Attraction" is valid. As a matter of fact, I believe it is very real. I have seen it work numerous times in my own life. But and this is a big but, it only works when you take action! You can dream all you want, you may even know exactly what you want, you can record your goals, you can put images up of all the things you want, you can say affirmations all day long, but you will only have in life what you want if and when you take action!
You see, whenever you take action, all the things that "The Secret" explained will start working in your favor. All the things that you desire will begin coming closer to you as you take actions. Without taking actions, your manner of attaining what you desire is insufficient. Accept this and understand this and you will begin seeing why some folks succeed and others don't.
OKAY, so what kind of actions do you need to take? You need to take actions that realistically bring you closer to attaining your goals. Writing down your goals is not action; it is getting ready to take action. Looking at pictures of what you want is not action; it's a method to remind yourself of what you have a passion for. Believing that you can have what you want is not action; it is prepping yourself emotionally to recognize the opportunities that will show up that can help you achieve your goals. All of the above things are good and should be done, but you have to do something that realistically helps you reach your goals. In other words, take action!
If you are working an MLM Venture, placing ads is taking action, calling your MLM prospects is taking action, actively Blogging is taking action, doing MLM business meetings is taking action, you get the idea.
I am certainly not an expert in the "Law of Attraction," but I have learned from experience in attempting to achieve my personal goals (in MLM and all areas of my life) is that once you take action, the Universe works in strange ways to help you achieve your goals. Get busy doing things to get what you want in life and the Universe will present you with opportunities that will astound you.
So, my friend, ascertain just what you have a passion for and then take action! Imagination is a fantastic thing, but it must be supported by action.

The Science of Intuition - Part 2
In order to awaken your intuition you need to move out of your brains rational and structured way of processing information. It is important to realise that unless people are prepared to step out of the well-worn paths of neural connections and entertain different thoughts then the old established ways of thinking and behaving are going to continue. Even scarier is the fact that because these old ways are primarily unconscious people are usually unaware of their thoughts, behaviours and actions.
Neuroscience has now discovered that between 95-99% of what people think and do is unconscious. Therefore most of what you think, say and do just happens automatically. As a result of all this you can see that accessing intuitive information before taking action isn't as simple as it sounds, primarily because brains aren't wired to easily operate this way. Brains are designed to operate from the past to save people the time and energy of relearning. Life then becomes a reaction based on perceptions and beliefs from the past.
The first step in getting out of this cycle is to recognise and accept this fact. This then affords you the opportunity to accept that your current reality isn't the only reality that is possible. Thoughts make reality and if you can change your thoughts you can change your perception and view of the world. In order to be able to connect with your intuition you need to break up your strongly held beliefs and make room for new possibilities. Whilst your network of neural connections remains strong you will automatically react to life given your existing perceptions and beliefs.
To break these neural connections you need to entertain the thought that your existing beliefs and perceptions may not be in your highest interests. You need to have enough doubt in your perceptions and beliefs to get a pause between thought and action. While your beliefs and perceptions remain hard wired it is impossible to get in touch with your intuition because intuition exists outside your current reality. As Einstein once said you cannot solve a problem with the same level of thinking that created it.
Hopefully now you might consider the notion that you don't always know what is in yours or other people's highest interests. The reality is doubt is a good thing for it allows a slight pause in the tight neural connections to allow intuitive wisdom to enter. Unfortunately doubt is frowned upon in society and seen as being a weakness. Confident successful people don't doubt.
Now is the time to reconsider doubt and see it as means of accessing your intuition. Let's blow your neural connections even further by proposing that if doubt is a good thing then confusion is even better. I can hear those neural connections exploding already. Confusion you say, "I don't like confusion it doesn't make me feel good and I don't know what to do when I am confused. No way can confusion be a good thing. I can entertain doubt as maybe being okay but confusion how can that be a good thing?"
Well unfortunately confusion is needed to break up the neural connections. Doubt creates a pause but that pause will soon disappear unless doubt is followed by confusion. Confusion definitely allows for other thoughts to enter because automatic actions are temporarily suspended allowing time and space to think differently.
If during this space you can entertain the thought that there is a better way of thinking you open yourself up to new possibilities. The trick is that you must honestly want a better way otherwise the confusion will disappear and you will go back to your old thinking patterns and automatic reactions. Therefore you need to be content to stay in a state of confusion. Then say to yourself with conviction I know there is a better way for me to think and perceive this situation or problem. Then let go. You may get a different thought straight away or it may occur in a week or several weeks' time. The important thing is to stick with the confusion until the right thinking comes to mind. How do you know if it is right thinking? Firstly it will be very different from how you have previously thought and secondly it will feel like an aha moment. Managing Your Papers: Inbox, Outbox, and Everything In Between
Set up a system that syncs with the lifecycle of paper.
No matter how organized the rest of your office may be, it's easy to feel like things are out of control when your desk is covered with papers. Although you may have heard rumors that the so-called "paperless world" has arrived, you and I both know that we have more paper coming at us than ever before. If you feel like paper is a pain in the butt, you're not alone. But the good news is if you put the right systems in place you can get the papers in your office under control.
In order to come up with strategies for how to deal with paper, we need to understand that paper has a lifecycle of its very own:
1. Papers come into your office--printed from the computer, through the mail, or maybe brought in from meetings or conferences. 2. You sort the papers--you put bills in one stack, magazines and periodicals in another, correspondences you need to write into a third. 3. You process the papers--you pay bills, read magazines, or write letters. 4. You archive the papers--papers you're keeping long-term are put into your file cabinet or a box. 5. You remove the papers--you drop the junk mail in the recycle bin or shred sensitive documents.
These five stages--in, sort, process, archive, and out--are the basic framework for your paper-management strategy. The key to managing your paper is to have dedicated space for each stage in your paper's lifecycle: an inbox for all the things that are brand new; a "hot files area" to handle the sorting and the processing steps; an archival area for all the papers you want to hold onto long term; and an outbox for papers that are leaving your space entirely. Let's look at each of these in a bit more detail.
First is an inbox. This can simply be a basket, box, or tray where you place all incoming papers--mail, printouts, etc.--keeping it all in one place so that it doesn't get lost in the chaos of your desk. When it's time for you to actually sit down and process your new papers, you don't have to waste time searching your space. Aside from collecting your incoming papers, this first stage is completely action free.
Of course, many papers do require some action on your part--a signature, a response, a payment. This is where most people's systems tend to fall down. Typically there will be a "To-Do" stack, but that isn't always helpful because we simply have too many different kinds of actions we need to take on any given paper. I think it's helpful to have a hot files area: This can simply be a desktop file box, maybe 6" to 8" deep, which is readily available in any office supply store. Inside of this file box you would have a series of hanging files; this enables you to break out your To-Dos into the different actions you need to take, with specific words for each action that your papers represent--"Call" for phone messages, "Sign" for papers that require signatures, "Calendar" for events you need to add to your schedule, "Correspondence" for letters, and so on. Now, when you go through your inbox you can sort your papers into the specific actions that each paper needs. This makes it a lot easier for you to actually take those actions: now you can grab the "Call" folder and make all of the phone calls at once, or take the "Sign" folder and sign all of the documents at one time. Rather than going through a stack of To-Dos and going back and forth and shifting gears, now you're streamlining how you're dealing with your paper. Creating this system should save you a lot of stress, a lot of frustration, and hopefully quite a bit of time as well.
Once you've taken action on your papers via your hot files area, there will be some you need to hold onto. Those will go in your archives--a file box, file cabinet, or file drawer. This is your long-term, cold storage area. You can name these files whatever you like--whatever makes the most intuitive sense to you.
Of course not every paper you take action with needs to be stored. Some of your paper will need to be recycled, shredded, or sent back into the world. It is helpful to have a recycle bin and a shredder right next to where your new mail or paper comes in. For the papers that need to go back into the world (outgoing mail or interoffice documents), it's best to have a corresponding outbox right next to your inbox. This would be where everything that you're taking back out into the world would live until you're actually leaving.

When it's time for you to actually sit down and process your new papers, you don't have to waste time searching your space. Aside from collecting your incoming papers, this first stage is completely action free.
Of course, many papers do require some action on your part--a signature, a response, a payment. This is where most people's systems tend to fall down. Typically there will be a "To-Do" stack, but that isn't always helpful because we simply have too many different kinds of actions we need to take on any given paper. I think it's helpful to have a hot files area: This can simply be a desktop file box, maybe 6" to 8" deep, which is readily available in any office supply store. Inside of this file box you would have a series of hanging files; this enables you to break out your To-Dos into the different actions you need to take, with specific words for each action that your papers represent--"Call" for phone messages, "Sign" for papers that require signatures, "Calendar" for events you need to add to your schedule, "Correspondence" for letters, and so on. Now, when you go through your inbox you can sort your papers into the specific actions that each paper needs. This makes it a lot easier for you to actually take those actions: now you can grab the "Call" folder and make all of the phone calls at once, or take the "Sign" folder and sign all of the documents at one time. Rather than going through a stack of To-Dos and going back and forth and shifting gears, now you're streamlining how you're dealing with your paper. Creating this system should save you a lot of stress, a lot of frustration, and hopefully quite a bit of time as well.
Once you've taken action on your papers via your hot files area, there will be some you need to hold onto. Those will go in your archives--a file box, file cabinet, or file drawer. This is your long-term, cold storage area. You can name these files whatever you like--whatever makes the most intuitive sense to you.
Of course not every paper you take action with needs to be stored. Some of your paper will need to be recycled, shredded, or sent back into the world. It is helpful to have a recycle bin and a shredder right next to where your new mail or paper comes in. For the papers that need to go back into the world (outgoing mail or interoffice documents), it's best to have a corresponding outbox right next to your inbox. This would be where everything that you're taking back out into the world would live until you're actually leaving.
