The Scientific Method
Scientists study the way nature works and the scientific method is a term used to describe the way scientists ask questions about nature and devise experiments to test and prove the legitimacy of their answers. A guiding principle of the scientific method is that for something to be considered scientifically proved, the same result should attain when the experiment that was designed to prove it is repeated several times under the same conditions. In addition, the proved law or laws are usually expressible in some form of mathematical equation. Therefore scientists use the scientific method to make testable explanations and/or predictions about the world in which we live.
Law of Attraction Science
In a similar manner, the science of the Law of Attraction explains how, as humans, we achieve our goals in life: how nature works in manifesting the objects of our desires in the world in which we live. It is a scientific explanation of what goes on in the background, out of view of the naked eye, when we suddenly see a particular wish or desire turn into reality.
The Equation of Manifestation
The act of manifestation may be expressed in the following equation:
Visualisation + Emotion x Repetition = Manifest Reality
Expressed in everyday language, the equation says if you create a visualisation of the object of your desire, add an emotional connection to it and then reaffirm the resultant emotional image by continual repetition, then the object of your desire will at some point in the future become reality.
Now, only a brief explanation of each component of this equation is possible here because each is an entire subject on its own and an inordinate amount of time would be required to discuss each subject at length. For anyone wishing to study any of these subjects to a greater depth, a quick search of the internet will reveal volumes of literature devoted to each.
Visualisation - involves the creation of a clear and precise vision of your goal or goals, using techniques such as writing the goals down, vision boards, pictures, sounds, anything that will articulate your goal clearly and unambiguously.
Emotion - the emotional aspect relates to how we feel about achieving our goals. What feelings are aroused by the prospect of achieving our goals? The more intense these feelings are the better.
Repetition - entails continual reinforcement of our goals buy revisiting them each day in the form of the vision boards or however else we may have articulated them. Positive affirmations and music are also used to reinforce the goals and emotions.
This whole process is designed create a series of neurological networks in the brain that drive the goals into the sub conscious mind where the real work of connecting them with the energy of the Universe goes on. The subconscious mind then responds by changing our thought processes to focus more on the actions we need to take to achieve those goals. Because these thoughts originate in the subconscious mind, they are in effect a change in our nature but appear on surface as natural as night turns to day and we do not even associate them with the visualisation process that preceded them.
And what of the repeatable result that is the stamp of scientific proof? The proof of the Law of Attraction is right in front of you. It is your own life. "As a man thinks in his heart, so he is" Proverbs 23:7, is the Biblical interpretation of it. Take a look at your own life, and the lives of those around you, and see if it is not the product of your present thought processes. You may be one of those few individuals that are content and happy with their life. However, if you want to change it and achieve your heart's desires then you have to change your perception of the world around you and your relationship to it.
