Perhaps it has become an undeniable truth that we live in a constant state of fear which could come from almost anywhere. Some people just go by ignoring them because, however life has to go on. There are also the lucky few that would not realize that in life, there could be quite a lot to cope for or to put up with as time goes by. Everywhere, there could be people suffering or worrying about different things such as physical ailments, financial woes, relationship breakdowns, job layoffs, stresses that arise from the environment and so on. Other than those, some may also fear living in a way that is inevitable such as growing old, failure to live up to certain expectations, not being loved, having low self worth, feeling not beautiful or good looking enough or not wealthy enough and the list goes on.
To sum up, there are just so many things that could make a person feel unhappy because of the fears and worries in life. At the very least, one labels them as worries, fears or woes whether or not it appears relevant to another, at worst fear that lives within us that hardly goes away. How is it possible to live happily with less to worry about by enjoying the fleeting moments in life that pass us by so quickly? One of the ways is to understand first the root causes of where our fears had come from and then to address them by confronting them and managing them quickly. For example, if one is afraid of getting sick, then it may be good to stay focused by remembering all those that were before the symptoms of the ailment started showing instead of feeling afraid or giving up on treatment. Steps like this help at identifying the factors that causes us the disadvantages that costs us in the long run by providing insights that help at solving the issues better.
Most importantly is to establish concrete plans that allow us to act upon which could help at solving the problems that cause fear within us. Start by understanding better within ourselves before making objective plans that could help to manage the issues of concern more effectively. Not all causes of fear can be eliminated; however, it certainly helps to identify the problems or what troubles us by seeking those answers deep within ourselves. Nonetheless, it is easier said than done; therefore it is advisable to seek further knowledge that helps at identifying the reasons behind those hindrances at getting through the sources of our fears. For example, could it be a childhood phobia, some very bad experience in life, a kind of addiction, a health condition, an unshakeable belief or some other reasons unknown?
Certainly, for all that we have to fear, there are controlling factors that pull us to abide by them. Consequently, to be able to understand better of all that happens to us and within ourselves; it may reflect to us that certain things are truly just a matter of choice. In order to be a little happier, we ought to make wise decisions and stick to them on good cause and with reasons that are clear. At times, one has to be prepared to make sacrifices or to let things go even. But whatever it is that we fear, we ought to stay strong to choose our directions and not be succumbed by it. What we fear had brought us to where we are today as it had composed our life by far without us knowing. Therefore, what is crucial at addressing and defeating the fear within us is to clearly accept ourselves for who we are and to change what and where we can along the way for the better.
