What The Law of Attraction Is, And What It Most Certainly Is Not

These days, with the success of movies such as The Secret, lots of people talk about the Law of Attraction and how it can bring about change in our lives. A big problem is that many of those people don't really have a good understanding of what it's all about. It seems some see it as a magic pill they can take whenever they want something to happen in their lives, without having to do any work other than thinking about the outcome they want.

Unfortunately you can't just say to yourself "I'm a successful stock trader who makes fifty thousand dollars a month" 200 times a day and become a successful trader. If the Law of Attraction worked like this, it would be very cool and everyone would be happy, but the problem is it's not going to happen that easily.

The problem is you can't think "I'm a Rockstar" five hundred times a day and instantly have a #1 hit on iTunes. If that's the way the Law of Attraction worked, it would be great and all, but unfortunately nothing happens that easily.

While this definition is relatively simple, for lots of people it will raise more questions than it answers. Questions such as "Does the Law Of Attraction only give us the things we passionately want and think about all day? Or is it going to also create things we really don't want if we accidentally think about them too much with emotion?

To answer this type of question, you really need to understand what the Law of Attraction really says and it's implied meaning. To do that, let's break the Law down into it's four main elements:

1 - We have to know exactly what we want to achieve.

2 - We must develop a process of thinking about the outcome we want, and then passionately and repeatedly ask the universe to deliver it to us.

3 - We also need to visualize ourselves already in possession of the thing we want, and then actively start living the reality of the life that entails.

4 - And finally we need to put other things that might happen our of our minds and only focus on having the outcome we want.

With an understanding of these four elements and how they apply to our lives, The Law Of Attraction really can help to make changes we desire. That's why understanding and learning how to implement the law is so important; because it really can help you to change your life for the better.
