Ray Ban Clubmaster - The Epitome Of Cool

What goes comes around. This has never been truer than in fashion. The same statement can be said about eyewear, more particularly about sunglasses. Year in and year out, luxury brands release new models which consumers await. And yet there are sunglasses that retain their appeal no matter what the trend may be during that particular season. That makes them a worthy investment, whatever style philosophy you adhere to.

Perhaps, no other eyewear brand has been tied to the history and development of the industry other than Ray Ban. For decades, people from the world over, from Tokyo to London, UK, have patronised it for enduring icons like the Aviator and the Wayfarer. However, the brand has one more trick up its proverbial sleeve - the Ray Ban Clubmaster.

Like its two siblings, the Clubmaster exudes an appeal that recalls the forms of the past yet remains relevant to the present (and therefore timeless). Released in 1986, this eyewear harkens back to browline glasses which were prominent during the fifties and the sixties. Browline glasses resemble how a person's eyebrows frame a person's face. The frames were used both for optical reading glasses and for sunglasses and were constructed with metal and plastic.

To a certain degree, the Clubmaster recalls the silhouette of the Wayfarer, being both unisex, with a few key differences. Wayfarers are constructed with plastic while the Clubmaster also utilises plastic but also uses metal, particularly in the rims which hold the lenses.

Just like the Wayfarer, the Clubmaster is best suited for persons who have a heart-shaped or oval facial shape.

Lately, Ray Ban decided to give Clubmaster a new look but still retaining the same materials employed when it was first released in the late 80's. Since people these days are more drawn to colorful accessories, the enterprise added more shades to give customers a wider variety of selection. At present, clients can choose from the traditional tones such as tortoiseshell and black and the brighter hues like green, red, and also violet.

Like its other siblings, the Clubmaster has also been featured in movies, appearing in films like "The Good Shepherd,""The Talented Mr. Ripley" and "Catch Me If You Can."Celebrities from Katy Perry to Beyonce to Kirsten Dunst have been seen wearing Clubmasters.

Ray Ban may have gained the control when it comes to the coolest sunglasses, but this is not new. It's pretty obvious. So the next time you are out on a shopping spree for an eyewear, make sure to include these three models in your list.

Every season, big companies release new items. Instead of you procuring brand new accessories every time they launch a product, stick to the ones that you can don all throughout the year. http://www.fashioneyewear.co.uk/
