Stress is everywhere these days. According to American Psychological Association, people nowadays are feeling it more than ever, especially women. The recent statistics released by the United States government showed that around 80% of women in the country are suffering prolonged stress due to factors like finances, the country's current economy status, family matters, health issues and too much thinking of things about the future. The worldwide economic blow six years back, have greatly affected people and contributed much for people to worry about such matters.

Undergoing stress is not healthy and good for one's wellbeing. Too much of it causes health issues and may result to trigger pre-existing health problems. This is the main reason why people need to know how to stay calm, how to keep their focus and how to manage different situations. 1.Diary. Every time you find yourself in a situation where negatives vibes are everywhere and all around you, stay calm and focus so despite the negative energy you will be able to put a finger on the right source of tight muscles and the growing anxiety. If not, it is advisable to jot them down and after a week perhaps, you can revisit your notes and look for clues or patterns that can help you with means to structure your behavior in case you will be in the same situation again.

2.Other people's behavior is out of your control but how you structure your behavior lies in your hands. When others start to stress you, have minimal interaction with these folks. In times when you are aggravated by certain behaviors, leave such people if you don't have the will to confront them.

3. Look for an outlet. This is an effective approach if one wants to displace negative energy. Some people when in stress, they go for exercising to relax and at the same time they get to release their body toxins. One more very effective outlet is prayer. It works the most as with the Almighty everything is possible.

4. Sleep and relaxation. If one once to lessen stress hormones, the best way is to get plenty or enough sleep. A nice time of relaxation then a good sleep after is a perfect match.

5. Posture. Be mindful of how you breathe. Don't hunch especially if stress is too much for it may create havoc on the blood flow in your body. Always have the advisable posture, not only because of this but it's a way to maintain calmness.
