While there are various groups in the society such as clubs, churches, and therapy facilities which provide information on how to stay away from drug abuse, other influential figures on kids should also be active in keeping kids off substance abuse. Professional athletes, entertainers, civic leaders, and the police can all be good role models for children in the society. Through advertisements, literatures, and signs, the campaign against substance abuse can be actively implemented.
When children are kept away from substance abuse, not only do they help themselves to become good and responsible adults, but they also aid their families and their societies.
