Work Less & Achieve More

We all have the same amount of time any given day, so why do some of us get so much more done that others? The same is true for professionals - some of us get the fundamentals in place so fast while others struggle to get past the very first hurdles. That's a question I get asked often, why are others getting deals already and I'm still waiting for my first one?

There isn't just a single road to success which anyone or everyone could follow and reach their dreams. It would be nice, but it's just not the way it works. On the bright side, we should all know that success leaves behind clues; especially when you pay attention to others who are experiencing the type of success you want in your life.

One of the biggest areas that people fall short again and again is with time management. Those who learn quickly to manage their time often see success much faster than others. Time management is important for both the investors who work at it like a full time job as well as those who are trying to fit it in as a side business. The better you learn to manage your time and stay on task; the faster you're going to see the fruits of your labor.

Time management comes in a lot of different ways; and I think none are as important as staying organized. Keep your focus each day by making lists of what you need to get accomplished. My personal suggestion is to carry around a simple notebook and make your lists in there. Those who have met me probably already know that I'm against using electronic devices for planning … even though I'm plenty tech savvy. A list in your notebook isn't going to distract you with a new email, text message, or phone call. The more you stay focused, the better!

Staying organized and keeping your focus on the tasks you have to accomplish are the two main areas that people need to improve. With some very basic steps - and a little more self control - getting these areas of your professional life in order will skyrocket your results. I've seen it happen dozens of times; and it can happen the same just for you. Don't be a pushover to the rest of the world with your time, block out segments and protect that time because it translates to money!

What we covered in this article is just a small part of time management that will help you be more productive. If you find the discipline to implement the above, you will get more done, feel better about yourself, and have more free time for fun!Your time is your greatest asset! Remember that!
