If your office work is more mentally demanding, try to stand up and stretch often so that your idle body can get more air. Flexing and yawning refreshes your brain so that you can concentrate further on meeting you work deadline.

Exercise

Even if you can't go out from the office; you can still exercise from your desk. Stand up and stretch your body, direct your hips in a circular motion then your neck and wrists. This way, you can relieve stress that is built up in your body while you have been sitting for hour attending to your tasks.

Delegate Task

When you belong in a team, try to delegate tasks appropriately. Give your team members appropriate tasks according to their positions, job descriptions and personal attributes. If you feel that everything weighs far too heavily upon you and you have been given far too many taskstalk to your boss so that they may spread the workload more evenly among the rest of the team. Avoid getting stressed at work by working only according to your job description, by doing so, you can go home on time.

Allot Time for Short Breaks

To relieve stress at work, you must be consistent with your short breaks, 10 - 15 minutes at most often will do. If you work long hours, you should take more breaks as you need to stretch your legs and breathe fresh air. Have your lunch outside the office, take a quick run or unwind on the rooftop so that you can avoid a monotonous and boring day. These short breaks can clear up your mind that will allow you to formulate more ideas to apply in your job.

Celebrate Success
Do not forget to reward yourself when you are able to achieve your goals. This is not just to relieve stress in the office but also to motivate yourself to do more and achieve goals more quickly.
